Hailing from Borneo, he founded #kendylife to help people by putting a smile through his Chibi doodle art style. The artist 's love of manga comics and exposure to Southeast Asia’s art and super flat art style had a significant influence on the direction of his works, combining the natural elements of simplicity and doodle.

He has received numerous accolades, led seminars, and delivered keynote addresses in Malaysia and overseas. His artwork was recently chosen by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to represent Malaysia in their celebration of Hong Kong through Art. Kendrick is also the official ambassador for Sakura Color Japan.
